Pamela Brown –
I recently picked up the TP-Link EAP610GP-Desktop, and I have to admit, I was a bit skeptical at first. With Wi-Fi 6 being the new norm, I wondered if the claims of 574 Mbps at 2.4 GHz and 1201 Mbps at 5 GHz would actually make a difference in my home. After a couple of weeks of use, I’m pleasantly surprised by the speed and reliability. The connection has been solid, even when multiple devices are streaming and gaming simultaneously—a real bonus in my busy household.
Setting up the access point wasn’t as daunting as I feared, thanks to the user-friendly Omada app that TP-Link provides. However, I wish there were more in-depth customization options for advanced users. The only downside I’ve noticed is that the desktop design is a bit bulkier than I expected, which might be an issue if you’re looking for something sleek. Overall, if you’re in the market for a solid Wi-Fi 6 access point, the EAP610GP-Desktop is definitely worth considering.
