I recently picked up the LENOVO ThinkBook 14 G8, and while it’s definitely a solid piece of tech, I do have mixed feelings. First off, the performance with the Intel U7-255H and 32GB DDR5 RAM is impressive—running multiple applications feels smooth, which is great for someone like me who usually juggles several tasks at once. However, I found the 512GB SSD a bit limiting; I expected more storage for a device in this price range, especially since Lenovo typically packs in more value.
The WUXGA display is bright and vibrant, making it enjoyable for both work and casual streaming, but I wish it had better color accuracy. On the flip side, the fingerprint sensor works like a charm, and the backlit keyboard is a nice touch for late-night work. At just 1.3kg, it’s lightweight and easy to lug around, but for a Lenovo product, I was hoping for a little more durability in the build. Overall, it’s a decent laptop, but it leaves me wanting in a few areas.
