I recently picked up the TP-Link ER706W-4G Omada router, and overall, I’ve been impressed with its performance. The dual-band Wi-Fi 6 is a great upgrade; it offers speedy connections and handles multiple devices without a hitch. The 4G capability has been a lifesaver during internet outages, providing a reliable backup option that’s super easy to set up. I also appreciate the six gigabit ports, which give me plenty of options for wired connections.
On the downside, while the setup was relatively straightforward, I found the interface a bit cluttered at first, making it slightly overwhelming for a tech novice. The high-gain antennas do a good job of extending the range, but I wish there was an option for directional antennas as well. Nevertheless, TP-Link has really delivered on this one, making it a solid choice for both home and small office use!
